Keelung City Health Bureau provides the free charge of HINI influenza vaccination for both of overseas Chinese student and international students who holding with ARC card (Alien Resident Certificate).

Description:

l           The influenza vaccination (flu shot) has been scheduled from this Saturday 12^th December 2009.

l           In order to advocate university students to get the free service of flu shot, both of international students and oversea Chinese students can simply go to the appointed medical institutions by holding ARC card to ask for free flu shot service. The Ministry of Education describes that the rate of university students had flu shot are relatively low compared with other students groups such as elementary and high school students.

Requirement:

The overseas and the international students with ARC (Alien Resident Certificate) who come to Taiwan for academic study are qualified to get free flu vaccine injection. Generally, the students such as exchange students (for exemple: short term study) or who has no ARC (Alien Resident Certificate) are not qualified to have free flu shot service.
